₹6000 crore future on Makhana

Nikhil Kamath saw it. Nirmala Sitharaman made it official.

I remember the first time I had makhana in my bowl.

Tasted it, felt like popcorn.

Not exactly, but close.

My mom said, “It’s very healthy.”

I didn’t believe it.

But this? Actually tasted good.

Rich in protein, it seems.

Fast forward to budget day, I’m half-listening, and suddenly, I hear Nirmala ji talking about makhana allocations.

And right then, Nikhil Kamath’s post about it pops up on my head.

I’ve been following him and his podcast for a while, so suddenly seeing these two things connect? That felt kinda cool.

Usually, it’s either I know one thing and not the other, or I wonder why I should even care.

But knowing both and choosing to ignore something? That’s far better than not knowing it at all.

At least now, I can understand the discussions happening around me.
I know, perspectives might change in the future.

For now, it’s my cup of tea.
